Since 1982, Adele Lynn has served as the founder and owner of The Adele Lynn Leadership Group, an international consulting and training firm whose clients include many Fortune 500 names. Situation

Adele Lynn wanted to turn the principles of her best-selling model for Emotional Intelligence (EI) into a 360 assessment to offer clients a way to accurately measure EI. She sought to partner with an established 360 vendor that could:

• Help with the creation of the survey and provide subject matter expertise
• Establish psychometric properties
• Host the assessment online for easy scoring and administration

Outcome

The Adele Lynn Leadership Group teamed up with TBC due to the company’s extensive knowledge in 360 assessments combined with its ability to administer and host customized surveys. Together, they came up with the Index for Emotional Intelligence (IEI), a 360 instrument that measures self-awareness and control, empathy, social expertness, personal influence, and mastery of vision. TBC also provided Adele Lynn with:

• Extensive statistical analyses, which tested for regression analysis, factor and cluster analysis, reliability and validity
• Assistance in survey/questionnaire design and development
• Survey hosting and administrative support throughout the entire project life-cycle
